watched the Portugal n Holland game last nite… and the commentators… we all stopped counting at after we hit 96 times on England being mentioned while Portugal n Holland even got to half time…!!! and you wonder why we get rattled…. you can’t even watch anyother game without England being mentioned….!!!! they weren’t f eckin playing last night….!!!

if you bothered about it, watch the game next time on a german channel, so you can hear them mention germany 66 times, also considering the winner of that game were to play England, there was a lot of relevence to mention England
YES – all is fair in footy banter. Mary, I find if you turn the tv sound to Radio 5 commentary when watching England games you don’t get quite the same amount of drivel and the microphones don’t pick up the moronic chanting of the English rabble (is it The Great Escape theme tune that they sing over and over and over again??). FFS don’t they have any SONGS?
How about that irritating Three Lions song by Baddiel and Skinner?
