The inane shite that is chatrooms is keeping everyone from here
You don’t like the chat rooms, Pete?
I think he means the actual chat in the rooms rather than the room itself Martin, if that makes sense. There’s always so much drama going on in there, it’s probably more exciting in there than the boards, is what he’s getting at I think. (Correct me if I’m wrong Pete).
Especially forum 3. It’s a,ways been the same in there, even way back when I was staff, and Pete too. People sit in the lobby and watch the world and his wife going by, find out whose,doing what to who. All the blazing great rows go on in there, and so on.
Clearly it’s more exciting than actually participating on the boards and bringing a bit of,life to them. Could be wrong but that’s what I reckon anyway.
Maybe do a poll,of some sort Martin, a kind of ‘ask the users’ and find out exactly what they do and don’t like about the site. Then take it from there. It’s what I’d do. Just a thought.
I used to like chat but tinsel is right plus I hoped for some reaction clearly in vain

Chatrooms are chatrooms boards are boards….whilst some of us do both…..don’t think these boards have ever had a good amount of people posting…..
someone said elsewhere….the only time they are buzzing is when there is gossip put up or there is an “argument”
even then…in the room the chatters that diss the boards for being boring or a wailing wall…..scuttle over to read what has been put and will discuss it in the room….
I used to post across the boards years ago…my problem is I find it too boring to read topics elsewhere…therefore my posting is restricted…..people change….habits change
take the fun thread with pictures for instance…the amount of pee taken out of them….in a negative way in the room was ridiculous….personally it doesn’t bother me….I am who I am and we cant all look like the supermodels who feel the need to take the mickey out of posters looks
