since when has any war been “legal” though.

    Unjustified, yes.

But I support our troops whereever they are sent.

Somebody has to be not only their voice, but also the justifier. Wonder who that would be,

    When they’re against international law.

Im 50-50 with our troops. I have family in Basra, but ive asked them to resign, reason being its not worth them being there, theres zero justification.

7/7, do you trust the words of blair accussing 4 mad muslims? There is no concreate evidence either way.

The truth of the matter is with all the laptops floating about the old carpet kissers can kill whoever they want at their Leisure.
What about just banning the Muslim religion in this country, anybody think that would help?

The Carpet kissers and their rantings have been about since the crusades,so no change there.
I think you will find the government is scaremongering to deflect the attention away from yet more “Top Secrets” being lost on laptops/Discs! :?

For that we’d have to vote in a party with the backbone to defend us.

I’m against all religions but there are two things that bother me about islam in particular.

    1) Do muslims in Britain, in general, and the imams in particular, deep down, believe that non-muslims should remain free to go about their lives without any deference to islam or sharia law?

    2) Islam preaches that the penalty for apostacy (leaving the religion) should be death. I know that in Britain this is unlikely but Salman Rushdie is a high-profile ex-muslim, after all.

I believe the law need to be clarified and possibly altered to place limits on the power of any religion. The two main points in such legislation would be that no religion should be able to claim that it is a sin to not belong to that religion, and the greatest penalty any religion should be able to impose for breaking its rules should be expulsion from the religion. Religious publicity should also be subject to advertising standards. It is illegal to claim that a medicine cures cancer, but it’s not illegal to claim a book will give you everlasting life!!!

there is a train of thought that suggests that george bush and his henchmen actually knew the twin towers were in immenent anger of attack and did nothing about it. thereby allowing his [and our] governments to bring in masses of new laws, to curb our freedoms. since the attack hundreds of new laws, all creating more and more mistrust and fear.have been pushed through. it seems to me that the government want us all to feel threatened and scared whilst going about our daily lives. every new law is introduced with the promis that its going to lesten terrorist chances of killing us. and yet we are the ones being coralled, and watched every moment of the day. cctv for instance was suggested to curb crime. and it no doubt does help. but ut is also used to spy on people by government officials. there are now armies og government workers watching, not for anti crime. but to log our coming and goings. there are thousands of cameras watching every car number plate, so the government can log our movements. this isnt stopping terrorists. its clamping down on our civil freedoms. how long will it be before we have to have a permit to travel outside of working hours ? or have to ave passes to enter government buildings ? its coming, if the government can use anti terror laws to lock a pensioner up for hecklinh tony blair. what chane do we have when the police force is now better manned than our fighting forces. there are more bobbies than soldiers ? why do we need them ? theyre not on the streets are they ? so why are they all being constantly trained in public disorder tactics ? im beginning to think that it is we that ate the enemy, not the terrorists. yes the muslims hate us. and in some respects i can see why [iraq for instance] but its the government they have the fight with not us. we can only diffuse this situation if we rid the country of radical muslims and change our facist government. otherwise it can only get worse for us, the joe public in the middle.
