At school at different times I was both a victim of bullying and a bully myself, the latter being a personal vendetta against an individual rather than a general desire to be violent.
I guess this is the case for a lot of people. How about other people on here?

9 December, 2010 at 2:13 pm #456128Following on from my original post, the boy that led the gang that bullied me when I was 8 or 9 later became a victim of bullying himself as a teenager (not by me, I had nothing to do with him) – but it did give me a sneaking sense of satisfaction!

I didn’t bother anyone else, and in return they never bothered me.
11 December, 2010 at 9:46 am #456130I was never bullied, I went to an all girls school and it was quite strict. I was too busy keeping my head down and not being noticed by the teachers to bother about other girls!
Thinking about it now, maybe its the discipline in schools or the lack of it that allows time for bullying to go on? Or maybe its was because it was all girls, I remember the boys school down the road and there was often after school fights going on, but is that just a boy thing?
