50 shades of grey is about as relevant to a Dom/sub lifestyle as is using a rotavator to mow a lawn so anything Lucy added would be more interesting

    Fifty shades of grey?

More like 50, grey and shady !

No I haven’t read it, so what do I know!

Everyone I know seems to be talking about this trilogy. Is it any good? What’s it really about?

Whenever you do ask anyone they either laugh, smile or are extremely vague …..

I’ve read a few reviews but it doesn’t really tell you anything, mostly their opinions ..not the plot…if there is one……

Anyone read it ? can enlighten ? I’m relying on Mrs T lol …just joking btw !

I’m a quarter way through the third book and yes it’s trash – but i love a bit of trash. I’ll confess that i’m no literary genius and personally, i don’t wish to be. When you have two months off and you have a pile of books to get through you don’t think about how good it might be. They’ve helped pass two days already and no doubt tonight i’ll be moving onto a different trilogy.

I’m disappointed though that it bears a lot of similarities to Pretty Woman.

The piano scene – WHAT A RIP OFF!

Anyway i’m off to get back to my last thee quarters of ultimate trash cheese to find out if she leaves him stranded in that red room of pain – the ba$tard. Happy Days.

I guess people reading 50 shades of grey aint that interested in BDSM or they would choose some a bit darker, more erotic and better written. I’m led to believe there are plenty of other literary options, for those interested in either male or female domination/submission. 50 shades of dull, lifeless, tame grey if you ask me, but you didn’t.

Well at least it’s a balanced portrait of consensual alternative sexualities and sexual practices. O b*gger, just realised, it’s not even that. Ol’ Grey, the main man, is only kinky cos he’s psychologically damaged.

Is it promoting acceptance of the rich variety of human existence, or giving people a quick thrill, whilst reassuring them that only damaged people really do this stuff?

What the hell. It’s selling like hotcakes and lots of people love it. Who ever said Mills and Boon ever changed the world?

It’s not breaking down barriers, but its earning lots of money, tickling some people’s fancy and making lots of others happy.

    What’s not to love?

    :D
