From what I remember at university, many years ago………..,the only people who did “psychology” where people with personal issues (the nuts).

Saying that, when I was there, they made you wait until late September for your results.

But I did go to a real university and not an ex polytechnic.

I believe the days have where having a degree was enough to open doors into work, these days you need a 2.1 and above from a good university to get anywhere in life.

I’m just trying to work out what a 2.2 from a 3rd rate ex polytechnic is worth ageist a proper degree from Edinburgh or Lancaster………. Not a lot

I must say has one of the “old school” alumni I feel the courses have been “dumb down” over the last 20 years and polytechnics have not helped raised standards.

Then again, it’s just systematic of an education system that refuses to let people fail, (its simpler to just lower the past mark, improve the schools figures and everyone wins don’t they?)

But it’s nice to see that after being out of class 5 mins, she has learn the phase “no freebies”

    HALLEUJAH WHOOPIE DOO!

Finally someone has “cloned” DOA! There’s no way he could have typed ALL that without a spelling or grammar error! :D

    you cheeky s hit!!!
you have no idea what doing a psychology is about and i worked damn hard to get to where i am
i am a single mother and decided rather than sit on my arse id get up and do something so i could get a better job than working in tesco (nowt wrong with tesco but its not for me).
ok my uni is an ex poly but that was years ago and the uni is known for its high standards in the particular degree i did. ok so the entry level wasnt as high as, say, durham but i still had to meet certain grades! it is not a 3rd rate ex poly for your info. my 2:2 is just as valid as a 2:2 from anywhere.
for your info when applying for a masters they dont say ‘2:2 is required but only from ‘proper’ unis not ex polys’ they simply ask for a 2:2.
i did go to a proper uni and im proud of what ive achieved. 4 years of assignments, exams and lab work.
    so there [-X
