The year was 2000bc and it was a cold frosty Christmas day morning,

Little Josh was awoken by the distant sound of a car alarm going off.

He checked his alarm clock and got out of bed.

He just about caught the train to school that morning…..

How am I doing so far ? :?

Stop being so churlish. MG’s story looks like a lot of effort went into it. That should be applauded, not mocked. I haven’t noticed any Hemingways knocking around these parts.

    Oh dear,

I’ve upset the boards policeman

At least MG found it funny though eh ? :D

I know your all just teasing but the Arts Corner has always been quite a supportive section, rather than a place one can expect the píss to be taken out of your work.

And all credit to MG for taking it in good humour, but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a pretty easy and cheap shot – a bit like pointing out that Griff can’t even spell story.
