I don’t know if there is a god, other dimension or what ever. No one does. Cant stand bashers, bashing bible, bashers. People can believe what they like.Before anyone one says it, dont ram it down my throat, no ones ramming anything down anyone’s throat. Sick of that old chestnut.

Now instead of worrying your head about who is a pseudo-intellectual and who isn’t, why don’t you just attend to the argument? Given the fact that none of us are working at the cutting edge of astrophysics, we all try to argue as best we can, and hopefully put it n language everyone can understand.

I don’t agree with any blasphemy laws, apart from those protecting the freedom of religious worship. I really am unsure how that is relevant to this thread, though it may interest you enough to start a new thread??? That doesn’t mean that people can’t get upset about their faith being mocked. Similarly, I did see Life of Brian, thought it hilarious and well-informed, but was less amused by the last 15 minutes, but why is that relevant??

I will answer the question of how any of us, scientists or non-scientists, can be certain soon as it is relevant, but would like to question a few people first.

I don’t like authority fetishists, btw.. If someone comes here and tells me God is all-powerful, the Bible is his Word, and how can a puny individual like you stand against that, I take the same attitude as listing Hawking’s awards and asking how can a puny individual like you measure against this wonderman? I say f*ck them both and stick to the argument as far as we can all understand it.
