How sad it is to see Sharon leave here
Needless to say I’ll be remaining in touch with her regularly through other means.. but there are many here (or eventually a very few actually with the way things seem to be going) that will miss the Goonerisms I’m sure.
A faithful soul who sparked life into things, created and steadfastly kept many threads rolling along with her singular way and her own inevitable style.
I assure you all that this particular loss will be JC’s biggest.

It is a shame that posters with originality and a bit of oomph about them got dragged into long standing warfare and that name calling and insults had become the norm. Some of those posters will be sadly missed because they brought a different dimension to these boards.
There are a lot of things I would like to say about the current situation but this is not the thread to use for that kind of airing of opinions.
Well, personally I’m not the type to “overact with teeth gnashing and wailing” :lol: .. As BM quite rightly states it’s Sharon’s farewell thread.
I briefly touched on the tragic state of affairs that precipitated her decision, though without apportioning blame or resorting to any flourishes of grief or dramatics.
I’m not leaving… but I think the manner in which Shaz has deserves quite a bit of respect. I particularly liked her “Nobody’s dying” stance. Surely even the least assiduous amongst us would note that as decidedly ANTI hysteria?
As I said, I do think her contributions will be sorely missed.
So, with regard to this thread, I don’t see any mass dramatics and I fail to see the veracity of the “Princess Diana” analogy :-kWhat I told ya Pete. :wink:
