The first time I logged in to JC there was the immediate dilemma of where to chat so being the sensible girl I opted for f3 and into 40’s where I thought I’d get an intelligent conversation………..WRONG!!!!
There were Pats and Jongoozler jumping behind an imaginary bush and a cupboard under the stairs full of toys……..there was wit telling someone she was only 5 and really looking forward to her 6th birthday………..there was pedant who had completely tied up some numpty in complicated sentences to the point where this guy just didnt know his a rse from his elbow………there was sunny who was talking about her fairy floo……….. merrymanofnotts talking about cooking hedgehogs……….I was sat there wondering what did had done…….chess was talking about the dreaded razor…….Dibb’s was running in and out and straightening his pirate’s hat………..sam_witch was sat on her broomstick……catmanblue was having a fit of the giggles………and so the list could go on and on………
……..Mr Jongoozler wherever you sailed off to on your barge I thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping chasing Pats around the bush and taking a few seconds to type that first ‘Hi’ to me………..there then followed a long list of hellos and since that evening in 2005 I have had so many great conversations in f3 and met some very nice people all be it in type.

OMG Tinks! remember it all so well :lol: some of it can still send me into fits of giggles at the sheer madness.
I dont know if you or anyone else remembers Ratty. He was a complete and utter nutcase!! I remember one sunday morning we all lined up in these virtual wheelchairs and had a race,,,,,,,,Ratty did the comentary, it was so funny :lol: I often think if anyone had seen us, they’d have locked the lot of us up and thrown away the key!!

Aw Tinks i remember my first hi to…Id stumbled, across justchat by pure chance and had never been to a chat room before, anyway, i entered and the first person who spoke was Ram ( dave )… he was so friendly and everyone just seemed to be so nice….. of course I now realise most r pure fekkin nuttas lol, but because of the great people i have met, Im so glad I did stumble across JUSTCHAT.

actually, i have loads of lovely memories of JC, spent many a night
laughing my head off at some of the things people have said and done.my best memories are of the pain and suffering that PATS, sunny would inflict upon poor
old poshcat, i remember the night they decided to kill her off and PATS took care of all
the funeral arrangements, i cant even begin to tell you the things we typed into the room
that night, i still smile about it to this day,also… i remember with great fondness our lovely butterfly, she was quite a lady,
always helpful to the newcomers, and knew when to be full of fun and when to be serious.i spent many nights chatting with her and we became good internet friends,
her death was all to sudden, and that was the first time i ever cried for someone i barely knew, but yet, felt as though i knew her for a life time.ive met lots of guides over the years too, some great, some not so.
but, we still thank them for helping to make JC the homely little place it has become
as without them, im sure, things would be very different.so….. to all the guides who have come and gone, and to those who still remain, thank you, and not forgetting, most importantly… our users, thanks to you all, and here’s to another happy, cheerful, and no doubt moaning 10 years. :wink:
