I fixed your post.

In the future, to post YouTube videos, just paste the actual link – no need to use the embed code.

If you want to make things more complicated, you can use the embed code provided by YouTube, but you need to do the following:

Click on the Insert/edit video icon, click on the Embed tab, then paste the embed code.

I should write up some instructions and add them as a sticky.

OK ppffftttt I did exactly as you said, and the same thing is happening.  I was doing it correct before, but for some reason it isn’t working on my pc

I’ll have to try and sort it for here, as it’s not a problem I have anywhere else (sorry lol)

There was a permissions issue. To avoid confusion I’ve removed access to styling and embed options that won’t work.

To embed a video, just paste a direct link in the post form and the boards will automagically embed it for you.
