I dont live in Settle but I know it well. Having lived in a town and the countryside.. I would pick the countryside every time….. Im only 15 minutes drive through wonderful countryside to my nearest supermarket… not a high price to pay for my wonderful surroundings….. might stay here. :D

ah bessbrook near crossmaglen,my family have farms there,and yes eve i can prove it.oh btw,yep settle is lovely the surrounding scenery is awesome,the rolling green limestone hills,malham tarn,gorsdale scar,pen y gent,that wonderful green path that leads you into horton on ribblesdale i ve walked it all,quick 4 pints in one of 2 boozers in horton,tent already pitched then off to hawes in the morning passing cavernous pot holes along the way,it normally takes me 4 hours the 12 mile hike to there but i stop off for a cig.

been to bessbroke the old mill elf and ur rite crossmaglen is miles away had to get a helicopter there lol :D
