first of all this is a thread inspired by two things ive recently read in here
one was the out of the mouth of babes, think that is on the joke page
i.e LD telling us a little kid asked her about coleslaw
and he said my brothers got one of them on his lip lol
I used to read those captions in the daily mail
but cant read them anymore as I refuse to read the daily fail
but I digress
the other thing that made me laugh was skeps comment, about marty 43,if he does it again,i will give him something to flounce for
I seriously did lol
reminded me of my mam saying, stop crying or I will give you something to cry for
she isn’t a bad mam its just what they say, makes me laugh
anyway ive forgiven her for saying that now
hey a years a long time ago :D
anybody got any other motherisms?5 October, 2013 at 7:01 pm #520479“you take the water for granted until the well runs dry”
sorry, that’s not funny. It was my mother quoting her mother, and it was about mothers dying.
Now I know what she meant.

esp as this is a potentially great thread, and now I’ve spoiled it Sad
it’s just the first thing that comes to mind these past few years when asked to remember things my mother said…
right er…”get your fingers out of that cake mix or you won’t have any fingers left!” :?
