Well whatever next will the mad feminists from the US come up with?

Since time immemorial, a ‘Tommy Tank’ has been used by males across the planet to refer to a well known and loved enjoyment …… reading the stories written about Thomas the Tank Engine of course!

Now, the clearly deranged Professor Shauna Wilton of the University of Alberta (they’ve actually got one ???) has put her feminist boot into this wholly innocent male pastime.

Thomas the Tank Engine has been criticised for its “conservative political ideology” bleats the trendy lefty Prof.

“Steam engines shown being punished for opposing change reflects the story’s Right-wing politics” she squeals in outrage.

She saves her real venom for the last bit …. “Female characters play more secondary roles.”

Ah ha! So there you have it. Its no longer acceptable in the feminist world for males to enjoy “Tommy Tank” – females want a larger and more important role as well. Hmmmm !!!

Is nothing sacred in this feminist bra-burning world of trendy lefty single issue bigots???

The Left wing bigoted rant reported above from Professor Dikey made me wonder about something.

If all the militant feminist loonies in the world burned their bras …… would it increase global warming???

I had that almost in reverse the other Day. I had popped in to get a key cut, in one of those In store Market places. I spotted a Dora the Explorer set of colouring pens, little maps n puzzles and the like. So bought is a wee thing for Grandsons xmas. The market trader then tried to sell me pyjamas, but they were pink and i explained the gift was for a little boy.. FFS, I got a lecture on ” confusing HIM”.. Before i even got my change he had outed the other stall-holders , explaining to me that he NEVER talks to ” poofs”.and how i should not buy ” girly toys for a 3 year old”..

Dora, is a female character YES.. but its for both sexes and is a helpful programme for kids, teaches them Their letters , puzzle solving and the odd Spanish word threw in.

there are misogynists of both sexes :)

None of the women I know would burn their bras!!! They are far too style conscious :D

That got me thinking rubes… about misogynists being able to be both sexes.

I have got loads of female friends and grew up with a sister who had a personality that overshadowed anyone else’s in the family. I love female company, work with a load of women. I guess there are women out there that don’t like other women though. I do not know what the reasons for that could be, but I suspect it would be to do with territorial issues.

As far as Dora the explorer is concerned… she rocks!

And…. my daughter had a train set and loved Thomas the Tank engine. She has turned into such a little lady too.

I had a real in depth convo with a pal of mine only last week. she is from a big family. I admit i know her mother and aunts better, but she was telling me the entire family have too much testosterone, in the female members.seemingly its a congenital thing. I Do not profess to be an expert on genetics, but its all tomboy girls in her family.
I prefer male company myself. always have, I think with men one does not have to hold back.Im one of the boys in my local, but always make sure im feminine, so contradict my “ladetteness” :)
can this be the reason i asked for years for an action man, complete with gripping hands :) I knew santa did not exist but Action Man was always top o the list. i think i wanted him to breed with sindy and tressy !! I was that child who built lego houses, then set fire to them ,, but in the nick o time saved them as super firewoman !! and remember im harking back to the 60’s, when firewomen were probably not invented yet ! My father got me a toolmaker apprentiship with Timex, before i even left school !
Yet the few female pals I do have, I get on great with, in a ” dont get too close” kinda way.
    weird !
just dont get me started on peppa pig (oink)

hmmm i think i am a paradox then. I love female company and have some very very close friends that I’ve known for centuries. But, I am also one of the lads, well I used to be before I got married. Used to always be out with the guys from work and they always called me the honorary bloke! I can therefore play darts, pool and can throw a mean ten pin bowling ball. I am a tom boy in a girly kind of way :)

and ffs what is peppa pig and does she make you sneeze as well as oink? And.. can you get vaccinations against getting her?
