In my opinion…..probably one of the most magical and entertaining films of all time……the lion guy always cracks me up very time i watch it and the tin man.

Scarecrows a real accidental hero though cause as Dorothy tries to stop him igniting, she gets rid of the witch at the same time….I mean it’s all in the script beforehand but an awesome film all the same. Mind you, you never hear the scarecrow saying….wow Dorothy…that’s awesome!….LMAO

The studio that filmed it has shut down now and they also used it to film the T.V series Fame which is one of my all time favorite series….they even did homage to Wizard of Oz in one episode where Bruno played the tin man…Awesome!

Funny how the wizard just turned out to be an old bloke behind a curtain making lots of sound effects and great promises…..although it turned out alright in the end.

LOL there’s no place like home….

It reminds me of the old joke about 3 once-famous US politicans called Sarah alin, Dan Quayle, and Bill Clinton.

While driving around Kansas, a whirlwind seized hold of their car and spun it up to the land of Make Believe. There they were told that if they saw the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their dreams would come true.

So off they went and after wondrous adventures they came to the Wizard.

Well said the wizard, give me your deepest wishes and they will come true.

Sarah Palin, who was known for her heartless attitudes to the poor and the environment, wished for a heart, and lo she had a heart and came out a socialist.

Dan Quayle, who was exceptionally unintelligent, wished for a brain and lo he had a brain and could spell correctly.

And, Bill, what do you want? asked the wizard.

Bill Clinton had been very silent and stamping his feet and looking around dissatisfied since they had arrived.

“Oh, nothing really”, he replied. “I was just wondering where Dorothy was”

    LOL!….

Land of Make Believe…..reminds me of a classic eighties track and Euro winner by Bucks Fizz…now hang on…that was another track….sorry i’m just making your mind up…..no sorry i’m making my mind up…..LMAO

Had a Bucks Fizz album and played it to death on cassette…..awesome writer and producer….

Any way……back to The Wizard of Oz……in my opinion…Magicians are just like the classic song sung by Imagination…..Just an Illusionnnn oooh oooh ah ah illusionnnn
