I can understand your points, but do you really think that the management of JustChat should be held responsible for what happened to someone on an entirely different site?
Where would their responsibilities start and end?
I still uphold my belief that we as adults should be wary of anything we do or say either in a chatroom, message board or facebook etc.
Yes Mrs teapot I agree they could be given a warning without naming and shaming.
Who’s to say that they haven’t already done so?
JustChat also has a page on online safety has anyone ever read it?
The moral of the story is “Never give out information to anyone” Facebook has very good privacy facilities surely it is up to us as the users to make good use of them.

Surely now they know the user name they can identify the person and possibly other names they use here. They dont have to name and shame they could just message them and tell them they are aware of whats happening. it would stop if they did that.

Surely JC have a responsibility to protect users where they can, just a thought.

On an adult only site I think the ultimate responsibility lies with ourselves don’t you think?
We all know the risks of adding strangers to facebook and what the consequences could be.
I for one don’t expect to be babysat at my age, Thats only my opinion though :D
