One thing I would say on this thread. I know a lot of people linger around this site. Do NOT get a parrot as a pet, unless you do your research first.

If anybody is thinking of getting one, go through me first. No holidays, no working all day, first thing in the morning they can be worse than a cockeral, they end up on re-homing roundabouts more than any other “pet”… they werent meant to be pets, people are cruel and have their wings clipped so they cant fly (away from them)…. but danger too.

Think twice.

Sorry folks…… but as an owner of 3, one demented cockatoo, a pretty sound african grey and a fat blue fronted amazon, I know their plight.
