Jodi Piclout writes heart wrenchingly well. I loved 19 minutes, think all of her books are so thought provoking.

I love all kinds of books, am reading a lot of thrillers at the moment, Mark Billingham and Peter James are good, and I have to say Richard Francis novels, although mostly always set within the horseracing world, are really good too.

I remember reading the books by Doreen Tovey, Cats in the belfry and the like about her siamese cats, they were hysterically funny, I must revisit those.

I am on a mission to read every single book in my shop :)

I like Peter James and Richard Frances too, not read any of Mark Billingham’s so will keep a look out for him, also for Doreen Tovey – will let you know what I think when/if I find any!

I have just read “A Quiet Belief In Angels” by R J Ellory – not sure whether to recommend it or not – very clever and descriptive thriller, but just when you think oh I dunno this is a bit wearysome, twists occur, and bam you’re back hooked! Well, it happened to me twice in the book. He is british, but you would never know it from his writing, you would think he has gotta be US!!!
