~ American Woman ~

For I am proud to be an American,
Standing up for the red, white and blue.
I’m proud to live where I can take my stand,
And do all the things I wish to do.

For our flag reminds us of our freedom,
That our country has fought to keep.
From the mountains to the oceans,
Our love for our country runs deep.

I’m proud to be able to see our flag,
As it stands in the breeze to wave.
Giving all honors to the ones who died,
And the ones who were so brave.

For I’m proud to be an American,
For my home this will always be.
I’ll take my stand for the red, white and blue,
As our flag waves so free.
