This thread is over a year old & most of the names on it are no more.
There are certain users of JC chat rooms that thrive on telling elaborate tales of slaying dragons in far away lands & wrestling crocs til the croc waves a white flag & says ok you win …… & then you get the room users that just come in to abuse folk.

Even more simple…just ignore the political threads. I ignore most of the music threads, and a lot of the jokey threads, and a lot of the personally nasty threads.. They most certainly have a place here. A lot of people enujoy them. But not me, usually..I just ignore them. Though some are good. Ang has a nice, dry sense of humour, and I like reading her posts, usually. Often I post light-hearted comments, and the thread then turns serious. Nothing wrong with that. If it’s pushed into the serious category, and it’s live, I’ll go with it. If not, I”ll go with that too. And I’ll always start threads in this forum because that’s what i do. So just ignore the political threads..easy peasy….I have to ignore some threads in chat forum three, and I don'[t ignore others. I ignore a lot of threads in the serious area, and no others. You should try it.
