I thought this problem with the English hooligans was over. Disgraceful behaviour from the English [-X . The Germans were clearly provoked by bald, drunken, fat Englishmen singing about WW2 and throwing model Spitfires at the poor Germans.

I dunno what the English fan’s have got against Hargreaves? :? I thought he a great game against the Swedish. In a lot of his caps he’s only been given 25 mins at the end of games. It’s not enough time to show what he can do. Ball winners never get much credit anyway.
He wouldent have lasted as long at Bayern Munich if he didnt have something about him. Teams need diggers like him.

Sweden didnt impress me at all , even with 11 men. It’s hard to judge how Germany will fare when they meet a really good side like the Argie’s in the next round. Argentina were a tad lucky to be in the quarters at all. I thought Mexico were fantastic.
