Seems to be far too much interference. Should let the manager do his job and make the Footballing decisions that he’s paid for.

Curbishley felt he had no other choice but to resign as well. Seems to be a trend.

Tough ask, even on his favourite hardcourt surface after playing for 4 hrs in the last round, but if he’s gonna beat Nadal this is his best surface to do it on.

If Murray grabs the 1st set, and it dosent go to 5 sets then I think he could win.

Not to me it doesn’t..more the act of of someone trapped and despairing, and as PB intimated, someone who couldn’t bear the thought of leaving his wife and child behind to face the music and end up in penury.

I agree, although a sad story, whatever the reason.

A vast majority of the UK poulation have to live frugally or in penury. The Ponies, Porche’s and Big House would have went. So what? That’s life. They wouldn’t have been the 1st people to have that happened to them. People eventually deal with whatver changed circumstance they have to put up with.

If it was a 102 yr old in 24 hr a day pain that had been put of their misery then it could at least have been debatable, but this man took his wife and daughter’s lives, and took his Daughters and wifes future for no other reason than they would have had to change their lifestyles. To me that it is a murderous sick act, and surely any overtunes of sympathy that have echoed from this thread are also sick.

Chelsea might only have spent 25 mill this summer Geoff, but how much did they spend in the summers previously. Bet it was a fair wad, which is fair enough, but it sure as hell helps to a massive degree.

Dont wanna get into an argument about how big a club Chelsea are, but the fact is before the Ruski took over they were frequently top six-top ten, at about the same position City are in now.

Yep, they’re now going after C.Ronaldo, Fabregas and Torres.

Dosent matter if none of those will come off. It shows the kind of targets they’re gonna go for. Chelsea have never been as bold as that.

Dunno what odds are on City to win Premiership in the next two years or Champs League within 3 or 4 but it would be well worth checking the odds on it.

Robhino will be surprised to learn there are two teams in Manchester, I reckon its only a stop gap, he will go to Chelsea next.

Havent City now become as big a club as Chelsea? Seems the new owners Pockets are as big as Roman’s, and they’ll challenge Man U and Chelsea for the best players.

If they can get a top four finish and get into the Champions League the players will flock to them.

Any way you look at it is sheer cold blooded murder.

Gotta take your Medicine at times like this, but Rangers scored their 1st against the run of play, and if Celtic had went 2-1 ahead through Maloney things could have been different. Celtic werent dominated the way the scoreline suggests.

I wouldn’t go as far as to call it a freak result, but in no way has the balance of power changed after 1 game, and we’ll see that over the course of the season.

    What a Numpty.

Yeah, Rangers are stronger for it. Weaker positions have been strengthened.

Rangers arent in Europe this season so a half decent Centre Half to replace Ugly Betty for domestic games is all they needed.
