I think anyone watching the Match today and what the two players gave to it, would say it’s outrageous that Venus Williams has come out of this tournament with the same money as Nadal. She’s actually come out with far more than Nadal because her matches are over so quickly that she can concentrate on Doubles as well.

Can you imagine what the Bra Burners would say if it was Men that were doing part time hours for the same pay?Given that there is far more interest in Men’s Tennis, and that they generate 20 percent more income, then they should get 20 percent more prize money than Women. Surely that’s only fair.

Only higher viewing figures there because it’s kept in the limelight with being played at the same venue as men.
99 percent of the men in those viewing figures would only be watching to see if Sharapova’s skirt flies up.
