aircraft dont travel that close together, and they were absolutely silent
Phone it then Pebbles, and ask if there was anything in the Sky last night in your area.
They’d be able to tell you right away.

They dont always hide.
We dont know that Satellites dont spot them.
Do you think Goverments would be prone to inform their populations that these Craft can randomely penetrate their airspace, and there’s nothing they can do about it

Dunno, but if we ever explore we’d probably try to observe any species we came across to see what they’re like (probably for a few hundred years) instead of jumping in and shaking hands with them straight away.
If they are so far ahead of us that they have developed Inter Planetary Travel, and they look at us, I cant really blame em for not jumping in.Your going by what we know today Pete, which is probably very little.
If life exists they could be millions or billions of years ahead of us in Technology. They could have technology we couldn’t even concieve of.
Wormholes, Space Folding. These are all Scientific Possibilities.
Could someone from the 1850’s have concieved of the Technology we have and that’s only 150 years ago. With billions of years more in evolving technology I’d imagine ways could be found that would make it as quick as a trip to the Supermarket.
