And in answer to your question….. you have shown in some of your posting on this site that you dont have a particulary good relationship with your neighbours. If one of them fell foul of a drunken yob one night and came home black and blue after being knocked about a bit… would u secretly be sniggering behind your hand..?
To reply no I,m NOT swayed atall by the media. I watch the news and make up my own mind from that, end of story.
To answer your question re my neighbours. No I don,t particularly like them, and it,s no secret I wish they,d move, but if one of them got kicked to death or badly beaten, of course I wouldn,t be snickering away laughing. Me not liking them very much doesn,t give me the right to wish terrible things to happen to them. You didn,t answer my question?9 November, 2007 at 9:44 am #292801@~Pebbles~ wrote:

Gay’s are ill in the same way that paedophiles are ill. They should be treated not encouraged.
oh dear, you really are behind the times arent you?!
how the hell you can compare two consenting adults to child abuse is quite amazing.
I cant say im 100% comfortable with the whole gay thing but in this day and age you have to learn to accept it, times have changed.
Fasty thats a terrible thing to say. Pebbles is right. You cannot possibly place gay people in the same category as a kiddie fiddler. I never cease to be amazed at the amount of homophobia in the world. Just out of interest then, if a gay man or woman is beaten, and either suffers terrible injuries or even dies, do you think: “bloody good job they deserved it”? simply because they are gay?

29 October, 2007 at 4:02 pm #292045tut tut And they said they wouldn,t touch it. These are just 3 of the comments posted. Some agree, but these three don,t and neither do I.
I was shocked when I read this story and cannot believe that they haven’t at least moved to a house that they CAN afford to live in instead choosing to remain to live in a £460k house. I am so annoyed that I contributed to their mortgage I’m struggling to get on the property ladder myself and it enrages me that my donation went towards their mortgage instead of helping to find Madeline – I am disgusted and would personally like my money back.

My teenage niece gave up her birthday party to donate to the fund to FIND MADELEINE and not to pay a mortgage.

If they can’t afford to keep up the repayments on their huge house, then they should do what everyone else has to do and DOWNSIZE! Their selfish lifestyle has already caused them to lose their child, they need to get a grip and start being responsible for themselves and their children.
