I have to say I laugh everytime I hear them bleat out the “yes, we were naive” line concerning what THEY did, naive FFS?

That would fit were we talking about them buying into a time share that didnt exist, or giving someone money to do some building work that never got done but their friggin daughter is missing probably dead, naive just dont cut the mustard one iota

They WERE negligent, they WERE selfishly irresponsible, they WERENT being and might never have been “fit parents” and they DO deserve every single bit of criticism they have to endure for the entire rest of their lives

As for social services here, the country they are in classes leaving children under 10 alone as a crime often punishable with jail, I think we should have a similar law here really called “Maddies law”

I also think they are deliberately putting off returning to the UK, but not because of social services tho, I think its either because of not wanting to face family and friends, not wanting to face the reaction they will get from people who recognise them on the street and still possibly because if it turns out they had something more than negligence to do with it they will be in jail, but whilst abroad they could possibly try to claim asylum or run to a country without an extradition treaty

I agree with everything you said there uber.

It’s a sad state of affairs when folks can use all of their energy blaming the parents

As i mentioned about 20 pages previously – it’s the bastrd(s) who took her who are to blame
All you are doing is hitting an easy target – the parents will pay for their misjudgement for the rest of their lives

It’s easy to make a mistake – thankfully nothing much usually comes of them

Misjudgement? How about negligence. I,d hardly call what they did a misjudgement. They did it of their own free will. And your wrong. It,s Maddie who is paying the full price for this bloody fiasco, probably with her life. All because they thought more of their own pleasures than the wellbeing and saftey of their children.

Is any of this actually a help to anybody?

No Sharon. They made a mistake that their daughter will pay for until she dies; that is if she hasn,t already. Lets not forget, it,s their incompetence and negligence that caused all this in the first place. If they had used the babysitting or creche facilities that were offered, then none of this would ever have happened. Of course if they hadn,t been so bloody selfish and thought of nothing but having a nice cosy little meal without the kids disturbing them, it wouldn,t have happened either.

Pages and pages of comments about how negligent the Mcanns have been and hardly a word about the perpetrators of this sad event. I think they realise by now that it was a mistake to leave their child alone for a short time dont you but instead of placing 100% of the blame onto their shoulders why dont you shift your attention to the fact that there are people out there who make this world a very scary and dangerous place to live. To the point where parents would rather their children spend hours in the house watching TV or playing playstation instead of them being able enjoy a full and active childhood in the company of other children in the parks and streets surrounding our houses. You all go on about how you would NEVER leave your child unnattended for a minute of the day but how many of you have children from the age of say 6 years and upwards who let them play out on the streets with children of a similair age. They are ALL in just as much danger but would you expect the blame of your child being taken by some weirdo being placed firmly on your shoulders if all you were doing was giving them the option to enjoy an active and fulfilling life instead of being held prisoner in the four walls of your house?

The appartment was within clear view of the restaurant. They were checked at regular half hour intervals and without the kind of people who carry out these sick events they would have been otherwise pefectly safe.

Fasty the resturant wasn,t in clear view of the apartment atall. The McCanns said they were checked at regular intervals. If they had been checked as regularly as they said they were, it would have been almost impossible for someone to break in and snatch Maddie. But hey, they didn,t have to break in did they? Because those two negligent useless excuses for parents, left the bloody patio doors unlocked so anyone could get in. And they would have been perfectly safe, if they hadn,t been so selfish and had put the safety and wellbeing of their children first, and used the FREE babysitting service or the creche, or alternitavely, shock horror, stayed in the apartment with their kids and ate there instead of strolling off down the road, to enjoy the evening sunshine and a nice cosy little meal with their friends. Yes, whoever did this is evil beyond belief, no one is arguing with that, but they wouldn,t have had the chance if the McCanns hadn,t left them alone in the first place.

what i cant work out if she was taken why wasnt others taken too they were in bed 2gether she was in the middle of the twins????why take the child in the middle ???

Because the other two are twins puppy. It would have been far easier to spot twins. Maddie was easier. If she is still alive, her hair would be a different colour, maybe even cut short. It wouldn,t be so easy to disguise twins.

Look at this article from The Mail On Sunday. Note the comment Mrs McCann made about how they came out as family of five and are going back as a family of four. Whose fault is that then?
