Thats exactly what mine was like, except mine was a dark brown and it had a warming oven as well, that one only has one oven.Wonderful inventions they are. You can get electric ones but I don,t think they would be so good; it,s not “real heat”, not like coal. *sigh*
In my old house I had a solid fuel rayburn. Every morning I,d rake the fire pit out and shove some more coal in it. It provided the hotest water supply I,ve ever had. When I used my washing machine the steam would come out of the dispenser drawer, it was that hot. It heated all the radiators in the house so we were as warm as toast. Best cooker/heater I,ve ever had that. I don,t half miss it too.
