How about giving the mother and father FREEDOM to choose?

Vamp everyone has been moaning about the new format ever since it was launched back in September last year. Yet all the moaners are still here using this “terrible format” and still moaning about it. :roll: The fact remains that the old format has gone to the great recycle bin in the sky; it doesn,t exist any more. It was upgraded to a newer different version that we tried out and no one liked it, including the staff. An alternative had to be found and this was it. Yes it took some getting used too as all things new do, but we,ve got used to it now and it,s great. It,s far better than the old format, especially for the staff. :wink:A lot of the ones that moan only miss the old format I think, because whilst you were in one of the rooms you could see who was entering the forum, yes? That,s what you miss.(correct me if I,m wrong) There is of course the “roam” tab so if your really that desperate to see whose about you can click on that and it will display the users in the lobby or wherever.
Funny though, even though everyone is moaning about it, saying how 40,s has died etc, they are STILL all sitting in the lobby, chatting and moaning about it. FFS if you want to use 40s, use it. No one is stopping you. Like I said, if it,s “died” it,s your own fault. All you have to do is click on 40,s and your in……….whats the problem? And again, if you really must you can have the roam tab open so you can chat and keep an eye on whose in where at the same time.
The only ones who have the “power” if you like to make good old 40s regs room great again is the users, so use it. It,s still there, it aint going anywhere. :roll:

Thank you Rose. It,s so easy isn,t it? One click and that,s it. You know I remember when we first introduced the new format. Everyone hated it. It was sooooooo awful and everyone was going to leave and go elsewhere. The site was loosing numbers by the day and JC was “dying” yet again. Well guess what? The ones that moaned about it are still here and so is JC!! If users want to start having all the regs back in 40,s or any other room, it,s up to THEM to do it. It,s not down to the format, it,s the users. The rooms are all there ready for you to use ………so use them!

Sorry about that. The staff needed the peanuts because our supply had run out in the staff room, so we didn,t think it would matter if we pinched the users supply. We have to keep our cupboards well stocked with things like peanuts, crisps and booze for our all night parties you see. :wink: :lol:

Vamp you and I have had this discussion before lol. Firstly, we are not bringing back the old format. We like this one, well the staff do lol, your gonna have to lump it I,m afraid.
Secondly, with the old format, you did indeed get “thrown” into the list, as it was then. The only difference now is, you can talk in it. You don,t have to stay there, no one does. If you all want to go into 40s, then just click on 40s and as if by magic, your there, simple. Whats the problem? If 40,s has “died a death” it,s your own fault I,m afraid. No one is making you stay and chat in the lobby. We havn,t introduced a new rule that says all users must stay in the lobby. Your quite free to chat in any room you choose, apart from the staff room, thats where we go with our pc,s turned off for peace and quiet and a drink lol. For heavens sake, if you all want to start making 40s a regular place for you all to chat in again, then just click on the room and in you go. Easy. But we are NOT bringing back the old format. Remember , it isn,t the software that makes the chat, it,s the users.:lol: :lol:

Well theres no point in beating around the bush is there lol. :lol: I beleive in getting straight to the point I do. And honestly I AM sympathetic, I really really really do care. Just like PB does. :wink: :lol:
