just about everything in Easter is pagan. The church is just desperatelly trying to find ways to make the pagan traditions sound christian :roll:

My granny has made me a Karelian national dress! :D :D :D
It’s a very old tradition that Finnish women have a dress that tells where they come from. I think it’s beautiful, I’ve always wanted one but never ever thought that I’d get one :?
My granny has made one for everyone of her daughters and two of my female cousins. She’s 78 years old so I just assumed she’s too old to be making a dress such as this one. I’m SO HAPPY :D 8)

Finnish is one of the most difficult languages to learn in the world. That’s a fact. And it’s NOTHING like Swedish …and no real language sounds like Finnish 8) so GOOD LUCK!!! :wink:
