Peeved dear me we are a very lonely individual. Some people on this thread have said worse yet you ignore that. To Tory Girl, yes I was bullied at school, it never did me any harm, they soon got bored when I didn’t respond to there stupid behaviour, teachers used to throw board rubbers, I had the cane a few times, I am still here, I didn’t end up needing councilling from my experience nor did it have any bearing on how I disciplined my own children.
Do any of the mothers on here discipline their children with a smack?

How you can say bullies got bored of bullying you thats the saddest thing i have ever heard. Its clear to me you dont have kids because if you did you would see where we are coming from, instead you are in your warped little world.
And no i dont smack my kids i have never had to. They know right from wrong and when they “play up” they get put on the step or sent to their room or in my nearly 3 years olds case she has no pudding after tea or sits on the step until she says she is sorry and thats that. My kids are very well behaved so i know i wont have problems when it comes to schooling.

Well since you have kids you should remember those times where the nappies are half way to be changed and they pee all over you……how sweet hahahaha
I think PATS did the right thing, as she said he got a taste of his OWN medicine from someone his OWN age. People weather it be teachers or not who pick or bully kids have something worng somewhere, a power trip to make someone so scared of you well personally it makes me sick and PATS i would do the same thing. And before peeved goes on about council,fat,hubby sha gging blondes or whatever, i work my hubby has a very very very high job we raise our children with respect and more importantly SELF respect. If no one respects you then at least you have morals! AS I DO before you try and twist the knife.

The whole point of my thread was, what that teacher did wasnt about discipline, that had nothing to do with it. It was all about power. She did it because she could. You dont do things just because you can, you do them if they are right, and that, IMO was WRONG. And peeved, I,m all for discipline in schools, but, that wasnt. It was bullying. IMO. And yes PATS, if she ever did anything like that to my daughter, may GOD help he is all I can say. :twisted: :twisted: If I find out what the kids mum did I,ll tell you all. :wink:It is a huge worry of mine when my 2 girls start high school because the teachers were all on power trips then so god knows what they are like now. I was never naughty at school or had a report card :D And my oldest who is nearly 5 is a very sweet good girl and if she carries on this way she will be fine. But on the other hand the teahcers have the power and they will do what they want be right or wrong. The press up thing was sickening and BULLYING and i thought teachers were supposed to stop bullying!
