I was watching THIS MORNING earlier and there was a muslim woman on completely covered. All that was visible was her eyes. There was another woman on also a muslim but against wearing the veil.

Anyhow it got me thinking as to how this *veil* situation /would/should have been dealt with in Northern Ireland when a few years ago people had to be searched (and rightly so) before entering a shop/public building etc because of the terrorism.Considering hoods of coats etc had to be taken down so the people could be seen who would have been in the right when asking for the veil to be lifted for security reasons.

This is a hypothetical question. I dont know if this situation ever arose.

Im just wondering what others not from NI might think about it if in a situation like this where she would have refused to show her face
