    Hi Ow£n
What MoBo do you have and make of ram ?, as you say Flashing a Bios can be tricky but a lot of the problems heard of comes from downloading Bios from second rate sites anything for a MoBo needs to come from the Manufacturers of your MoBo only. just try this first swap your two ram modules over then have a look in Bios to see if it still says 512MB is the ram you bought single sided or double sided if you ram is double sided it will have Chips on both side of the PCB if it is single sided they will only be on one side of the PCB, one more thing is your PC fully updated ? what is your OS, sorry its a lot of info to ask but i need the info to help.

An anti-virus program scans files before you open them and prevents execution if a virus is detected – SpywareGuard does the same thing, but for spyware! And you can easily have an anti-virus program running alongside SpywareGuard.

Links to SpywareGuard Here i have used Spyware Guard on all of my Computers, it works and its FREE.

No problem, you will need drivers to run your Printer, but first unplug the printer from your PC then start your PC next download the drivers Here, i find drivers lock in well at start (Graphics Card Drivers every time) so when you have installed the drivers shutdown your PC connect the Printer and boot your PC drivers will engage and your Printer should work, if not post back,
I hope i have explained clearly

    Hi HermanGRRRman
I take it your OS is XP, what is the make model no of the Printer ? do you have drivers for it ? have you downloaded drivers for it ?, what connection are you using ? is your PC/Printer 1 to 1 or Network ? are you accessing from local or remote ?.

    Hi
My system has two HDDs, HDD1 80GB is partitioned in to three 12GB (C) 32GB (E) 32GB (F), HDD2 200GB is partitioned in to two equal partitions (D) & (G) so i only need to defrag (C) on a regular bases because that’s my OS and i get a better defrag when all apps are closed or better still defrag in safe mode then reboot, as Ow£n Ka$h says reboot after you defrag, and clean before.

Bat, try the install in safe mode.
