I think bi-lingual signs are just a way of the council trying to be helpful towards an area that has a large Bangladeshi community which might have members within it who haven’t mastered English yet
Dont be so silly, come on, grow up here, it doesn’t take a masters degree to learn a street name.
I’m sure that if you go abroad you will see English signs in areas that have a lot of English visitors.
What has a foreign countries policy on street name signs got to do with those in England???

I wasn’t talking about extreme nationalism. Why do you automaticly assume racial problems associated with nationalism, and not socialism being a cause? Socialism causes racial tensions here.
If you look at world history, it’s clear that Europe and America are more stable now than they were in the past. Over the course of the past 200 years when there were lower levels of immigration events like the American Civil War, The Crimean War, Napoleonic Wars, World War I & World War II all took place. So it’s not exactly true to say that when there were lower levels of immigration Western societies were more stable. I don’t think immigration is an important factor with regard to stability. Any instability relating to immigration is manufactured by right-wing hardliners with a chauvinistic agenda.
You dont remember the racial riots of brixton, 2001 in the north west and yorkshire, trevor phillips explaining that multiculturalism make people less happy and less trusting, just months ago. Millions of people all over the world demonstrating against socialist liberal government illegal wars.
The sooner nationalism takes control of the present multi disaster of political ideology, and promotes a prodomanent culture for everyone, the better.

There is a connection between socialism and nationalism, the prosperity of the people.
The problem with socialism, is that those that implement it have trouble coping with the diversity of mass culture, which causes several problems.
Imagine the problem of feeding 5 kids who want 5 different meals.Nationalism is more specific, people live under a prodomanent ideology.
Imagine 5 kids who are happy with what their peers feed them.Recently, parents of children in Worstershire shcools were outraged that Hala meat was being served without their consent, just because a few pupils were muslims.
You can have mass diversity, but you cant have total stability.
You can have limited diversity, then you can expect stability.
The “contestants” seem unaware that they are there to work hard.
If you think you’ve seen gordon blow his top, you havn’t until you watch the american version, he seems to about lose it completely, closing down production it was THAT bad.
I felt for gordon a tad. I think next week sees a fight in the clips they showed.

I like most scottish people that i have met. Scotland is a different country to mine, like japan or poland. That doesn’t mean your second class to me, it means i consider problems in my own country first, as you do yours.
If voting BNP is not your thing, try SNP, they want out of England and i support them for wanting that.
I hear on bbc24 tonight, that poland is suffering big time with migration mainly to England. Money issued to them in the millions by the EU were instigated towards brand new roads, yet they cannot complete them as they have no one to do so, which leaves a constant traffic jam nightmare.
Many skilled workers leaving poland leave their NHS in a nightmare situation. Hospitals are closing, certain operations cannot be done, people are suffering, and for what, money, blairs political mob (lab lib con) and capitalism, which “we” voted for. The polish can earn THREE times here than at home.
It is absolutely essential, that the welfare of countries like poland, and the African contenent etc is sorted out, which means skilled work forces who come here must:
A, stop coming here!!
B, be encouraged to go home to keep their own homelands and population in safer hands.It is up to the indigenous population of England to defend who and what they are from the nightmare of globalisation and multiculturalism that tears into the poverty stricken poorer nations.
The scottish also need to wake up, vote SNP rubyred.
