Walking into town didn’t scare me at all up until about 10 / 15 years ago, didn’t scare me mates or anyone else i knew. As a teenager, we’d walk into town without any fear. Now as a grown up im well aware of everyone around me, shouldn’t be like that, i deserve to feel safe.

I remember as a 10 year old being the only one in the house on a saturday afternoon, leaving the door open whilst nipping down the road to get the weeks meat from the butcher van, i could even pop next door before i got home, there was no worry of someone entering the house. Now, i’d never leave my door open, its always locked unless its very hot.

Trust me, and ask the older generation, we felt much safer years ago. Folk used to leave the milk money outside, who’d be in the right mind to do that nowadays.

You see, criminals were punished years ago, now they get away with it.

This government will bring us to our knees.
