My cartoon alter ego has to be the wonderful..
..DAFFY DUCK!!Spring is the best time of the year: a time of rebirth, renewal and hope. I love watching the world come to life in leaf and birdsong, whilst the crocuses give way to daffodils and the smell of rain washes away the ordure of winter – and don’t forget that here in Britain, Spring last year was a belter. April in particular was a marvel of sunshine and warmth.
Oh and my favourite thing about Spring, is watching out for these fellows..Mad March Hares!
I have to laugh at the pondlife commentary against Johnboy, mocking him for indicating that he would be staying home with his ipod and a good book on Friday night – when – lo – the commentators themselves appear writ large across the boards on the same Friday night, evidently melded to their home computers betwixt enthralling episodes of Emmerdale Farm and Big Brother. There’s class!
Of course, one should not forget that these entertainments are given a rousing sub-discourse by the buckets of alcohol swilled down by the voyeurs both inbetween and during. Tasteful.
Not that booze is a necessary prerequisite for the knuckle-dragging slavering bullies and baiters of JC in order to enjoy the sport of back-biting, back-stabbing and back-slapping whilst the audience pulls up its collective chair and chows down on the popcorn.
By christ – you’re a sorry lot. For sure, this will go flying swiftly over the heads of most of you, and the usual suspects will respond in the usual manner. What HAS come as a surprise, is Sharon’s part in the mocking of young Johnboy – I thought you were better than that Sharon. Pity.

For pity’s sake leave Johnboy and Minx alone. Quite frankly, they have conducted themselves with a dignity which is beyond the perception or ability of most of you.
