Ranting..Cath? Hardly. I tell it like I see it. Beatty revels in being told what a talented beautiful young thing she is. What she doesn’t want to hear is that she needs to get off her self-indulgent a/rse and learn to wade through the sh/it like the rest of us. Boo fu/cking hoo. Life’s tough..get over it. I admire Becky for having the courage of her convictions..we don’t always agree..but I think we’re both the kind of people who don’t suffer fools gladly..so sorry Ms Blue..but you’ve run out of sympathy in this quarter.

There probably isn’t much point in telling you that all despair is relevant..is there?As for you Beatty..surely to christ you’re not serious with your last comment? It’s tragic that you can hold so cheaply..that which so many people struggle every day to hold on to. If you really fail to see the crassness of wishing yourself starving in Darfur..then you are either beyond help..or you don’t really WANT to be helped. Maybe it’s easier just to moan about life..eh?
Statistically..most suicides are amongst young men Fastcars. And yeah..there’s a big difference between feeling sorry for yourself and actual clinical depression.
We’re all being told to ‘seize the day’..and..as you said..that’ life is what you make it. ‘Sadly it ain’t that simple. Life is only what you can make out of a given set of circumstances..some people are dealt a lousy hand and struggle against the fates all their days. Others..lead charmed lives. Try telling a starving baby in Darfur that ‘life is what you make it.’ We are all subject to the whims and follies of both strangers and friends and to the dark tides of economy, illness and war. If life was what we made it,,would we not all be living in Utopia? Maybe you’ve found your own Utopia Fastcars..if so..you’re a lucky man.WEARY…
