The simple things in life, eh?
One of the funniest things I ever saw was an old lady falling off a bus (may the gods forgive me but I reckon i’m paying for it now) when I was coming home from Uni one day, the bus pulled into a stop, and the old dear approached..lifted up one leg towards the step..one arm towards the railing….then toppled off backwards..
Well, the driver dashed round to help her, the front seat passengers clambered down to assist him..and I slid down into my seat howling in paroxysms of hysterical glee.
The more I knew I shouldn’t do it, the more I howled..face scarlet..tears streaming..snot blinding me.
Eventually, old wifey settled..the journey commenced..with me getting glared at in the driver’s mirror; so much so that I got off two stops early just so I could stand doubled up in the street screaming with laughter.
