This is in fact a rather telling point AW. It certainly appears that the USA goes into these ”fights” full of enthusiasm for the forthcoming scrap; bands playing Yankee Doodle Dandy; flags waving; patriotism bursting from every pore etc etc.
Within seemingly seconds the ”liberals” start to foam at the mouth, knife everybody in the back, and generally complain and fret; the media soon catches on and adds the the mood of despair.

I think that you’re dead on right there Owen. Also maybe Iran wouldn’t be sending its ”fighters” into Iraq to attack the Iraquis if Saddam was still in power so there would be a lot less ‘sectarian’ trouble.
Well it’s quite obvious from all the posts that this teacher is a common thug and a bully. What they did amounted to an assault on an innocent little child and they should be reported for it and made to pay the price.
This child has clearly been traumatised for life, mocked in front of its classmates and will no doubt be bullied in the playground for years to come. Any chance it might have had to learn something at school has been completely undermined by this action. It will probably end up flipping burgers, cleaning streets, stacking shelves in a supermarket, or being a builder’s labourer or whatever. It could have been a doctor, accountant, lawyer, businessman, research scientist or whatever – but no chance of that now – its life has been ruined.
The parents should march straight down to the school and give this bullying teacher a taste of their own medecine. Punch then right in the face and break their nose. Then let’s see how they feel with their own blood pouring all down their front.
They clearly aren’t fit to teach and should lose their job and be thrown out of their house onto the street. THAT will make them think twice before they make an innocent little child do 10 press ups and get laughed at.
Tadpole – you didn’t need to post this to justify things and I am really cross that you have been unwillingly put into the position where you obviously felt that you needed to do so.
I don’t for a moment expect that you will receive an apology although quite frankly one is surely deserved. – and is long overdue. So let me on behalf of ALL reasonable JustChat board users apologise to you for the totally false allegation made against you.

You know Robbo you’re right about this baby epidemic thingy – loads of women recently have been having ’em.
But think back a bit to your Biology classes at school (which is a lot more recent for you than it is for me !!!). On the basis that not ”every time” produces a pregnancy, there must have been a tremendous epidemic of shagging before this recent baby boom.
What on earth could have caused THAT eh???
This is quite right PATS (and others). Teachers SHOULD be given a taste of their own medecine and the sooner the better. If you can’t do it personally, you can always get a friend or relative to go down there and smash them one in the face.
What’s wrong with going down to the school and giving them a bloody good left hook. That’ll teach the bastards to bully our children.
If you report a teacher for bullying you can get them dismissed and totally ruin their carreer, and everybody will back you up all the way. get rid of them now before they do any more damage to innocent little children.
We don’t need discipline in schools, we need our kids taught stuff and spoken to nicely.
I just love the way people refer to babies as ”wee ones” – they do wee a lot don’t they ??? (Or have I just misunderstood ???)
