I have a question for you. Why is it that the girls on the right of the ‘Twisted Nipple’ page are all from Crawley???
Crawley is one of the more boring towns in Surrey, next to Reigate and Horley, so what is it with Crawley women??? Are we all missing something obvious here???
21 May, 2006 at 11:07 pm #220406I have a slightly different take on this subject.
We all blame the Government – and maybe they should take their share of the blame – but these animals are punished by the Judiciary. It is a Judge that sentences them to a term of imprisonment. It is lawyers that defend them, that complain that their Civil rights have been breached etc etc.
Maybe we should turn our totally justified anger and rage on both lawyers AND the Judiciary.
21 May, 2006 at 11:02 pm #219435I can’t claim to be any more knowledgeable on the subject of Nuclear power than the next man Mr Bigstuff, but having read through the articles you quote, it seems to me that whilst some of the incidents reported worldwide were clearly serious enough locally to be categorised as ”incidents”, equally some were merely trivial.
A fire in a Nuclear plant sounds on the face of it terrifying with enormous potential for environmental disaster. However, the actual incident was a workman puncturing a can of spray paint which then caught fire and in turn set fire to a bit of plastic sheeting in a basement storeroom. It had to be reported because of the stringency of the controls in these facilities – but in itself it is a very minor industrial accident that could happen in any facility.
As far as I can find out, electricity generated by Nuclear means is apparently cheaper to produce that so-called conventional power stations. Burning millions of gallons of oil or tons of coal etc to generate electricity surely must be more costly and definitely more environmentally unfriendly (due to the emissions etc) than ”clean” Nuclear generation.
I also understand that the technology for storing ”spent” Nuclear fuels is now so advanced that it does not represent a threat in real terms to this country. Indeed we even take in stuff from abroad for re-processing and safe disposal as it appears that we are world leaders in this technology.

not only me though eh.. and youve been ignoring it for ages fact is you lied and you were hoping everyone would forget tut tut
Yes Pete I told an outright lie. And yes Pete I was ignoring your repetitive posts on the subject (but more out of sheer boredom than an intention to make the subject of my outright lie go away).
So everybody, here’s the news. Gosh I told a lie some time ago!! ‘Magoo’ isn’t female after all – ‘Magoo’ is actually a male – Wow !!!
If some of you believed this outright lie – Oh dear…. sorry !!! (Pete didn’t believe it though because he is really clever and knew all the time that ‘Magoo’ was male not female).
There, I’ve admitted it now – and I feel soooooo much better.

reliably informed by a male who mistakenly thought it was an actual clown.. pull the other one.. and even if he didnt thats ok cause he’s male eh.. and reliably formed its a female.. weve been reliably informed of that before eh (anther ref for you to ignore)
Give it a rest Pete, eh?- You’ve been banging on about this for ages. It’s lost its point by now.
21 May, 2006 at 4:57 pm #219922It has to be the Study for me because this is where I sit and read all these really interesting posts – especially the ones with lots of smilies and ”Mwaaah’s”
21 May, 2006 at 4:55 pm #213517So Tommy beats me by one point – but that doesn’t mean that I’ll give him one !!!

Hmmm it’s north of the watford gap, he says, so that rules out Chastity and Mikie Female and maybe Fay – anyone else live down south? Is it Catmanblue, PB?
Actually, the more I think about this, the more I believe it is a matter for the police. Is he saying that a F3 reg, known to him, advertises children’s entertainment on posters in private schools and then when they phone her up she instead gets porny with them?
Try phoning this number PB : 999. That should work.On a point of accuracy, I specifically didn’t say that she got ”porny” with them – simply that they got a lot more than they bargained for. I am most reliably informed that the various conversations may have included sex and travel though.
21 May, 2006 at 10:24 am #219872It sure seems that way doesn’t it???
21 May, 2006 at 10:20 am #219433Well I’ve been searching for ANY details of these 57 events and I can’t find a reference to them other than as an answer to a Parliamentary committee enquiry on Nuclear power in Scotland.
Opposers claim 57 ‘events’ but I suspect that these are really really minor ones. Remember that absolutely EVERYTHING has to be reported and analysed in the nuclear industry no matter how minor.
This is interesting (from the UKAEA site):
“The average (radiation) dose received by employees was 0.10mSv, equivalent to 3.8% of the average background radioactive dose received by all members of the public.”
