AW (((hugs))) for you too :(
I just try to think of the nice memories and stare at the ceiling so I dont totally lose it when the service is on. Works for me most of the time.
Thinking of you.
5 May, 2006 at 2:08 pm #213103We had a great copper here but he left coz he daughter was really sick and the whole place just fell to pieces. It’s such a shame he had a really good rapport with the kids and community in general. Doesn’t matter anymore coz we’re moving interstate in a couple of months to a “city”. Just gotta keep Aaron outta their way.
5 May, 2006 at 2:01 pm #187252Gyps that wouldv’e been scary. I went into a screaming fit when my son went through a stage of having febrile convulsions. Our kids are so precious. Am getting sentimental in my old age. Am forgetting all the fights no.1 son and no.2 son would have when I could have cheerfully smacked their heads together to get some peace and quiet. LOL.
5 May, 2006 at 1:55 pm #213101Lets put it this way the paedophile will never come back to this town again.
5 May, 2006 at 1:53 pm #213100What I didnt add as well is those same coppers didnt do squat when at least 5 kids from my town were assaulted in some way or another by a paedophile, mine included. I have no faith in them whatsoever!!!!!
Probably coz they were too busy stalking the ‘p’ platers.5 May, 2006 at 1:48 pm #213098@gyps wrote:

But how the feck does one know that a policeofficer is bent? :?
In my younger days (cough, cough) knew peeps that would get busted for say 10 sticks but when it went to court they would get charged for 5 AND am going thru a court case at the moment for my son. He’s been charged with these hoon laws they brought in in January. Cops say he did a 2 sec burnout but didn’t see him do it, pulled him over about 2kms up the road and hassled him til he admitted he did it (they said if he admitted it they’d let him off on a warning). Two months later he gets a phone call to pickup his summons to go to court and they were real pricks about it as well. It’s all bogus and I’m sick of our local country cops thinking they can do whatever they like. Are they in for a shocker on Tuesday when we go to court.

5 May, 2006 at 1:36 pm #187248Feeling very sad today. I have been doing palliative care for a man that was 39 y.o and had motor neurone disease. He passed away monday night and had his funeral today. It was awful. He suffered so much. Makes you reassess your own life. At least he is at peace now.
