ah parents.
Yep some parents will defend their kids no matter what as my has done.
This was not a proud moment in my life and youth is no excuse.
I was 13 and hanging around with 16 year old’s, we miched school and went into town, got caught shoplifting and were reported back to the school, who in turn informed our parents.
My mam called to the school and defend me saying it was clearly the older kids who made me do it (when in fact it was my idea in first place trying to be hard to the bigger kids) and i got away with it and the others got suspended for 2 weeks.

Needless to say when she got me home she beat me black and blue and ive never shoplifted since.

I dont have kids but when in school, if anyone got their parents to go to the school they’d be bullied even more by other kids calling them a rat.
Yet it puzzles me why kids give there phone numbers out so easily, and how stupid other kids are to put their threats in writing as evidence.

Good to see things have changed in most cases and schools are now talking responsiblity.
