Well Mr Jen finally got home at 5.30 this morning, very tired, hungry and thirsty. 12 hours to travel 50 miles! Thank you to those that pm’d me in chat last night, you helped keep me from worrying toooooo much.
Meanwhile it’s still snowing and the winds are causing snowdrifts and making it feel bitterly cold – time to dig out the drift at the door so I can get some milk! :evil:
It’s snowed all day here, I scraped the snow off my car to come home and 4 hours later it’s covered again as if I hadn’t done it. The M23/A23 and A27 are at a complete standstill because of snow and ice, Mr Jen is stuck in his car on the A23 and hasn’t moved more than 20 feet in 3 hours…I’m getting a tad concerned as he’s been on the road for over 5 hours now (usually takes 50 minutes) and he’s diabetic and hasn’t got any food or drink with him…eek
This is not supposed to happen in the middle of March this far south! :evil:
