Yep, Big Sam wasn’t doing a much worse job than some of those who tried and failed and were given more time before him.

I think his downfall was purely the fact that he wasn’t Mike Ashley’s choice as manager. Keegan will be given time, even though I think he should have made some moves in January – you don’t have to spend a lot to get a lot.

Different leagues and different class of players I know – but Walter Smith really steadied the ship at Rangers when he brought in Weir and Ugo Eghienglish bloke.

Erm… I have to say though, that the whole point of songs is the combination of lyrics and music. If you don’t like the music you are unlikely to bother to listen to the lyrics.

In some instances yes, maybe I should have been clearer. I meant folk who listen to a few seconds of a song and say ‘That’s rubbish, it’s too loud for me’ etc and dismiss the entire thing on that basis.

If it wasn’t for ‘Through Glass’ that’d be my favourite track. But people are missing out on some good songs just cos they don’t like the music and that’s a shame.

That’s my favourite from the current album. I think some of the lyrics in ’30/30-150′ – even if you don’t care much for the music which, fair enough, isn’t to everyone’s taste – are really good. I wouldn’t call it a classic or resonant though (it’s also a cop out cos there’s loads of lyrics to it and I don’t know if I have the patience!)
