‘Boom! Shake the room’ was about 93/94 so I was right about that one. ‘Summertime’ was about 91ish so you’re right about that one. I only thought it was later than that because I was only about nine then and didn’t care much for music so can’t think why I seem to remember hearing it (and watching the video somewhere)

I think I was only young when it came out, I’m not sure of the year..was it late 80’s or early 90’s?
Btw anybody got a clue whether you can download music videos of YouTube?
Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince had a few songs in early to mid 90’s if I remember rightly. I remember that one ‘Boom! Shake The Room’ or something similar and it was early 90’s anyway.

Closely followed by Girl From Mars, Shining Light, Wildsurf & Oh Yeah to make my top five :D
7 May, 2008 at 12:37 pm #333584The PS3 is also a Blu Ray DVD player, but you need an HD outlet on your TV to watch them. Though you don’t need it for the graphics, I don’t have an HDTV or connection but the graphics are brilliant without!
Having HD probably would enhance it (might look into that soon but this digital switchover is complicating it a bit, might wait for that to happen first) but as it stands, I’m still very impressed.
7 May, 2008 at 12:28 pm #333582Getaway is due out on PS3 later this year so I’m looking forward to that :D Never really got into it much on PS2, it was a bit too samey, but from what I’ve heard this one’s going to be something else entirely.
Godfather II is also set for this year as well. Godfather was fantastic on PS2 and even better on PS3 so that’s another I’m keeping an eye out for.

Why? This is a thread about violent video games (I know that for a fact cos I started it) GTA is considered a violent video game so by talking about the GTA games, I’m keeping this on topic which doesn’t happen very often (as you’ve so kindly proved) I don’t see what the problem is.
Poli, I think the older GTA games which carried an 18 certificate were actually quite undeserving of the rating. For me, they weren’t much more adult themed than most other games on the market at that time. The PS3 ones do deserve it as the content/language is a lot more graphic than previous but if someone is, as you said, sensible enough then there shouldn’t be a problem.
7 May, 2008 at 12:45 am #333577I pre ordered mine back in January, got the special edition on PS3 for £58 and it was delivered on release day. F***IN LOVE IT!! Agree about San Andreas to an extent, thought it was far too big with actually not enough to do outwith missions. If it had that then it would have been even better. Vice City was great, loved the soundtrack :D
Don’t like the locals in GTA IV though, I get the impression Niko isn’t welcome. Best thing so far for me – going drinking with Roman. That is funny as hell if you’ve never done it

6 May, 2008 at 4:43 pm #333573You could easily lose a week on GTA, best one so far!! San Andreas was going to take some beating but it seems poor in comparison. This is going to be a good year for the PS3.
All my mates at school were into Tomb Raider but I could never really get the hang of it so I never got into it.
6 May, 2008 at 3:58 pm #323032It’s not so much that I don’t enjoy it, I’d just rather be at work than in the pub.
