Well I once had a dream where I died and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t wake myself up (don’t know if that was part of the dream)

I certainly hope there’s nothing to them or I’m in for a treat when I go

She didnt neglect to tell the police about information which would have led them to shannon on day one, she deliberately withheld it to save her own skin.

Isn’t that pretty much the same thing though? Fact remains that while she was praising the police for their efforts, there was one piece of information which could have been acted on and avoided all the publicity and the concern, not to mention all the excess work for the police (door to door, paperwork etc – the stuff a lot of folk don’t realize goes on behind the scenes – before you even start on time spent on the actual search itself)

on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud

It’s because they’re pretending to be a premiership team. I’ve heard of teams being ‘found out’ in the top flight but didn’t think that’s what it meant

yeah poli i hear what you’re saying but i think shaz is more concerned about the vital period – where the cops should be out concentrating on finding the missing child, rather than thinking hmm i wonder if the parents had anything to do with this? The first 24 hours are the most precious in tracking down evidence, we’ve seen this in the McCann saga..if the proper precautions arent taken the child could be taken out of the country and may never be found.

But hasn’t it also been proven that blaming the mother was the right thing to do all along in this instance? It’s not their fault she neglected to tell them information which would have given them a good place to start. And I can’t imagine that every cop in the force thought ‘Let’s not bother looking or even asking if anybody knows her usual haunts etc. Let’s just decide that it was the mother and sit around scratching our arses until she tells us something’

Perception isn’t always the same as fact.

On the subject of pets though, my cat often stares up at the corner of the ceiling when were sat in the living room and it freaks me out because theres nothing there!…or is there? she did it the other day when i was sat on the bed, she became transfixed with the space beside me, i thought omfg theres someone sitting next to me!!! You never know…

One of the things I don’t miss about the dog, she used to scare the shyte out of me sometimes. More often than not I’d be staring with her

I had that thing with the dog too, but in the last few months before she died. I’d often be so convinced that I saw her out of the corner of my eye only to find that she wasn’t actually there.

I’m not sure and I’ve got a couple of things to back it up. They say that pets sense these things, well my grandad used to live with us and our dog was always sitting by him. After he died, his chair was moved she would often just stare directly at where his chair used to sit in the room. When the old chair was put back it became her favourite despite the fact that she never used to bother with it.

It sounds weird, I don’t believe in ghosts as such but I believe that there is something else.
