We do call it football – I think the point being made was that the majority of english football teams don’t have that many english players and as such shouldn’t be referred to as english teams. You could apply the same logic to teams all over Europe.
It’s the sort of thing that somebody who either has no interest in football or supports a crap diddy team says :lol:
