i haven’t seen my dad since i was about 4, and never been curious or thought about him on fathers day… it wasn’t my dads choice not to see his kids…mother got custody and he just faded away…anyways fast forward about 17years and he’s just come back into my brothers lives(he’s a stranger to me so i decided not to meet him) and seems really happy to be getting to know them….so i don’t think most fathers forget about the kids they have that they don’t have contact with
