Didn’t seem a patch on 1987 when I was blown all the way home while trying to do a paper round. But I didn’t have any power for 65 hours! Never had anything like that before. I actually find the damaged cables while out for one of my walks, but it still took two more days for them to be fixed.

Well, the short version would be that Annie turned down the offer as well. And in my story book type of world, it would because they are deeply in love and they accept and understand the laws of nature. The longer version would be a bit madder and I need a bit more time. :)

Really? I am usually on the ball with that sort of thing. I don’t see the poem as having that sort of message. I think it is much more about personal choice. :)

They both look better than the omelette I tried to cook in the dark the other day! Three days without power, which isn’t something I have experienced before.

Well, I was mainly referring to a more local, greener economy. About 90% of profits made by companies go to the shareholders and these are remotely spread throughout the world. I agree, but what is the answer? We need to build a proper economy, much more locally-based, with businesses supplying things of value. And more sustainable of course.
