I would of thought prison would be a very dangerous place for a baby too…
Yeah and that!

Hey Lucy hun Smile Well I’m assuming they are pregnant before they enter prison so therefore they commited the crime even tho they know they are going to be a mother…. so if that doesn’t put them off being a criminal then do they deserve to have the child with them inside? I’m not sure about this either tbh, I can’t imagine how horrible it must be not having your child with you but I also can’t imagine my child being brought up in a prison.
Ahh yeah I didn’t realise she meant pregnant women. I though she meant women with babies already for some reason :?
Well yeah you could have reasons to say “unfit mother” and whathaveyou. However, there are cases of false conviction. Not many I’d guess, but still it’d have to be looked at in-depth.
Again I’m with you though, I’m not sure either. As both ways somebody has to suffer. But I guess it’s best the baby didn’t suffer .. and taking that into account isn’t brought up in a prison?

I’ve never been able to understand how bringing a baby up in a prison can be a good thing?
I never knew you could, until I watched Corrie last night!
But yeah, I was surprised to find out you could.. to be honest. I mean I know that obviously a baby’s rightful place is with it’s mother (and father) but surely a prison is not a good enviroment for a baby? They say babies can pick up things around them. In terms of atmosphere and emotions etc don’t they? In which case it’d be better of at home with a loving relative of some kind, whether it be a father, and aunt etc.

Ooo you can call me whatever you want hun  … well within reason!
Seriously though, I don’t mind being called by my other name, people know it’s me anyway. Also it might give Anc some sleep. Unless of course I have been “sussed out” .. lol
