i’ve seen it from both sides that all.. women making shyte up to get at there ex, not saying this is the case.. but my mate loves his kids, yet his ex is always mouthing on about him not taking an intrest, when tottaly its not the case, when i pulled her to one side about it night night, she whacked me over the head with her shoe :)
i’m sure thats not the case, don’t beleive anyone would disown thier own children without a very good reason to why

he was knackered, he had played a full season for blackburn.. played nearly every game, then joined the full england squad for 2 weeks, then was picked for the u21 championship
he said to himself.. whats more importent, my fitness for blackburn next season, or playing for england… he decided blackburn was more importent…
thing is, everyone playing for England also do it for personal pride

i think mostly in comes down too players these days would rather play for there clubs then the England National team, I know thats a big bold statment to make, but there is more passion involved in playing in the champions league or the premier, then thre is.. playing in a friendly against Germany, or even qualifying games
look at bentley, he pulled out of the under 21’s.. to be ready for blackburn for the next season, yes, thats only the under 21’s you may say, but he knew that would have a big impact on his internatioal carear when he made that choice
